Andrea Rossi and Patent (Photo)

Here’s a photo of Andrea Rossi which he forwarded to me along with this description:

“Andrea Rossi in the office of Leonardo Corp in Miami (Florida) when receives the original ribbon- covered copy of his US Patent from the USPTO. The flag on the wall has been flown over the capitol Hill in Washington, DC.”

Congrats, now let’s get some ecats in the market!

After careful photo-analysis it seems likely this is forged document produced in an opaque, secret location by an opaque, secret society. Note too there are only 18 stars in the American flag – a clear reference to November 18th, 2015 “Occult Day – A day for witches, rituals, fairies and more…”

Just another page in the giant conspiracy to make consensus science look foolish. /s

    • Daniel Maris

Only 18? That must mean Rhode Island and Delaware have been erased from the map!

      • Frechette

Could be Massachusetts we’re all communists in this state even though it was Republican Governor Mitt Romney who gave us affordable health care before Obama became President.

Well now is not the time to mention scoundrels and patriotism! 🙂

I am a little afraid for our Andrea – he looks rather thin don’t you think?

But all in all I hope the patent is yet one more step up the Mount Everest of LENR. 🙂

    • Alan DeAngelis

Good point Daniel. It happened in spite of the scoundrels.

      • Alan DeAngelis

But I have to say, the civil right to being granted a LENR patent was denied to inventors for almost a quarter of a century. The patent is the summit.

    • bachcole

Just because scoundrels hide in patriotism does not logically follow that all those who are patriotic are scoundrels.

      • Alan DeAngelis

There are some patriots in the US Navy that were behind the scenes since 1989 defending LENR that we have to thank.

We could all use a little patriotism in the West especially the Europeans.

    • psi2u2

That was my first thought. You can see, I think, how very hard he has been working for months now to realize the dream of a commercial e-cat. Great photo, Dr. Rossi! – beef it up a little for the coming months.

    • Zephir

The gamma radiation and neutron flux generated with E-Cat may be weak, but I wouldn’t sleep inside the E-Cat unit under run as A. Rossi does.

  • Bob Greenyer

    Good for him – congratulations!

    • Bob

Hmmm…. a bit of a clue here? Either Mr. Rossi has taken a break from spending many hours per day inside the shipping container, or the secret customer is located close to Miami. I hope it is for the first scenario. :

      1) for his health and relaxation

      2) It would indicate that the 1 MW plant can and is running without Mr. Rossi’s constant supervision.
      .
Both reasons would be a positive!
      .
It is good to hear a positive statement about IH / Darden again as well.
      .
The story goes on. Hopefully good news will continue. On the other hand, it appears that Steorn may have announced that they will soon have their product on the market. However, I am not holding my breath. I have heard that before, from more than one new energy inventor. I am not holding my breath for BLP, Defkalion or Brillion as well. As a matter of fact, I am not holding by breath at all at this point, I would not be able to hold it long enough!

    • Paul Smith

But I would have been pleased if in the picture, in a little corner, he would have inserted a small Italian flag.

  • Bob Greenyer

    Good for him – congratulations!

  • bachcole

    Miami?

And why would the flag have been flown on Capitol Hill in Wash., D.C.? What is the significance of that? How does one get one of those flags? Does this imply that someone “important” knows about the reality of the E-Cat?

The table is cutting the view of his arms off. At closer inspection, he looks just fine.

    • Frank Acland

I asked AR about the origin of the flag. He replied:

      Frank Acland:
      Thank you for the publication.
Tha flag has been donated to me from my Friend Thomas Darden, Pres. and CEO of Industrial Heat.
      Warm Regards,
      A.R.

      • bachcole

I guess someone important did given it to him. And only a few people, many here, know just how important.

          Flags Over the Capitol
Request a Flag Flown Over the Capitol

On average, more than 100,000 American flags fly over the U.S. Capitol a year. Why so many? The Capitol Flag Program, which began in 1937, allows a member of Congress to request a flag be flown over the Capitol on behalf of a constituent. The flag is then given to the constituent.

The Architect of the Capitol fulfills more than 100,000 flag requests from Members of the House and Senate each year. With advance notice, a flag can be flown on a specific date to commemorate a birthday, retirement, anniversary, or other special occasion. Each flag comes with a certificate of authenticity that can be personalized to reflect the occasion. Flags are available in nylon and cotton, and come in three sizes (3’x 5’ – 4’x 6’ – 5’x 8’).

All Americans can get a flag that has flown over the U.S. Capitol at a very reasonable price by placing an order directly with your elected members of Congress.

Nylon and cotton American flags in a variety of sizes are available directly from your Representative and Senators’ offices as a constituent service. Please check with their offices for the latest flag prices. Many Representatives and Senators have order forms on their web sites – flag order information is typically found under “Constituent Services.

Just a few days ago I was telling my teenaged son about the Gettysburg Address, and it was difficult to talk about because tears would well up in my eyes. Having said that, this “flags over the capital” thingie is getting a little too close to worship for my tastes, especially when anyone can pay for it, sort of a metaphor for our government. But this is just one man’s perspective. (:->)

I wouldn’t blame Rossi for falling in love with our country. Many immigrants do. (Strange that many lefties hate our country. Perhaps it is the result of psychological problems.)

          • Frechette

You must understand there is a whole protocol about flying the flag. At night on a public square for instance it must be lit up to be visible. Because of the ethnic diversity of the US population the constitution, the flag, and national anthem are some of the few symbols which hold us together as a nation.

The photo is of very poor quality considering that it was intended to celebrate an event. Perhaps Darden could give to Rossi also a good camera or a professional press office. This could seem a trivial comment but it is in the small details that we see the real level of an enterprise. I hope that Darden is more professional than Rossi’s but it could not be enough in a so competitive world. In the past, Rossi has often failed for not having considered some important details. I hope that now the important and strategic decision about the industrial development of the invention are taken from other people, because it is a completely different job, only for professionals.

    • oceans

Paul the photo was fantastic and especially the American Flag in the background intended to demonstrate the possibilities America represents, you missed the entire point again.

      • Paul

The idea behind the shot was good, but it is a low-res photo made with a poor quality device, probably a smartphone. You can see too big pixels when you open the photo with Photoshop or similar programs. Moreover the smile seems not natural. I understand that it was not made by a professional team. Apparently, it could appear a perfect photo, but for a photographer it wouldn’t be…

        • Paul Smith

The picture was certainly done without preparation . The happiness on the face of Rossi is spontaneous , and it was not necessary to prepare a professional photo , given the importance of the moment .

The official photos will come in the future.

        • HS61AF91

Now if only the USA would quit fission taxpayer support. Use these funds on Rossi’s patent, toward mass producing e-Cats for the country. We could conceivable beat Russia, China, and India to true energy independence. Concurrently do away with the current oil based fiat currency system.

          • oceans

bachole your radical political views are clear, but it does you no good to the LENR cause.

          • Jarea

I totally agree bachcole. The race cannot be stopped and Russia and China (mainly China) are pushing hard because if they win they solve a lot of problems of energy dependence and again a good niche to his producer role of the world. This time as energy device producer too. They will save a lot of money/energy to produce other articles and they can also win a lot of money selling a similar ecat product (e.g. the e-chan/chinnese version XD). That cannot be stopped by anybody. it is just a matter of speed and efficiency race to the market. It is a race that wins the best prepared to the change because once the know-how is there you cannot stop it as, for example, you cannot stop that China has his own space program where they can test their hypersonic rockets which are a big thread for US.

  • Paul

    • bachcole

What race? Such races are only in some people’s heads, particularly this alleged race. If Russia, China, and India were to “beat” us to energy independence, they would be pestering us less about oil and consequently there would be more international harmony. If they were to get a good head start, with our freedoms, hard work ethic, and financial power, we would catch them in very short order. I absolutely, positively refuse to fret about some kind of race.

Now, embarrassment, that is a different story. A really good embarrassment would do the USA a lot of good.

      • HS61AF91

Those governments are funding LENR research, would you say they are in competition with each other, sorta like a race? Don’t know, but if we are doing any research (US tax money funded, that is) nobody’s saying. No matter who gets to mass production first, the world will benefit, and if the US gets caught with its pants down, when someone else does it, in spite of having Dr. Rossi here, then I for one would be more than embarrassed, also disappointed. Still, the world will be the benefactor whoever produces ‘e-Cats,’ because people would fret less about oil and consequently there would be more international harmony. Worthy goal, whichever way it happens.

        • bachcole

The nuclear arms race, now that was a race, because if you lose that race you die along with the rest of your country. Fortunately we had a tie and the USA and the World survived. But if China wins the LENR “race”, I’ll just buy my LENR unit from China. And I guarantee that the US Navy is not going to come in second place when it comes to powering their ships.

          • Alain Samoun

No Frechette you did not understand,it is very unlikely, at the present time, that these countries make this kind of military exercises together, especially with the tension between the US and Russia about Syria.

          • Frechette

This was announced not as an exercise but as military cooperation with Russia in the campaign against IS and propping up Assad. Putin is presently sending Russian military hardware (tanks and troop carriers) and Russian advisers to Syria. Secretary of State Kerry this morning expressed in a conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov the concern of the US Administration. Lavrov for his part admitted to Kerry that Russia is supplying the aid to Assad. Russia is also building housing for the Russian advisers in Syria. All was reported today on NPR.

      • Alain Samoun

        Yes like Sputnik!…

        • bachcole

Yes, but this could dwarf Sputnik.

      • orsobubu

I like to translate your nice word “international harmony” in “communist production system”, or the synonimous “internationalism”. But we are unlucky because – inside our capitalistic system – that possible “independence” would soon transform in isolationism and protectionism due to the fall of profit rate and augmented difficulty to expand the respective imperialistic domains (capitals export, foreign market quotas, strategic influence sphere). These horrible steps historically, usually lead to war. Harmony is an absolute math impossibility in capitalism on this Earth. It’s a race against the clock for capitalism, to succeed to expand production in the outer space before inflation explosion or deflation implosion. They know this and they’re trying, but financial, political and technical problems are so overwhelming and time so scarce that I don’t think they will make it, even if LENRs are real and quickly developed.

        • Omega Z

You really get all that with cheap energy!
You Know, It doesn’t matter if LENR is maintained in the present grid, a smaller more localized grid, or individuals having their own. It is just cheaper energy. It will make things a ‘little” easier. Aside from allowing some to better take care of themselves, everything else will pretty much be the same.

Think if gasoline was a nickel a gallon. You will spend the savings on something else. Of course many people will drive more & need a new car more often. That requires more labor to build them.
Yeah, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

And Capitalism. You do know it was around long before anyone put a label on it. Right. It is a natural state of nature. It’s not going anywhere as long as more then 1 person exists.

          • orsobubu

Nice to hear you, OmegaZ. About LENRs,you’re right, I’m not saying that they change the world, just the opposite, usually I just write to say to calm down, that nothing will change, and that the contradictions of capitalism will remain the same, perhaps with an acceleration, I hope. If the technology wins on the markets, prices will go down, but this increase of productivity needs a dramatic expansion in human labor in other sectors at least to to maintain the profit rate; but these sectors also would be ravaged by consequent increased automation. They also would wipe out old, established sectors. So the increase should be intended as conquering of new territorial markets, and this is called imperialism. Not good, new territories are shortening and competition is raising exponentially. The thrieving of capitalism, in last century, is due to Asia capitalistic development. Look at the world before the two WW: no more territories ready for capitalism, big crisis, although incredible technological innovations. All the chaos in the world, today, starting from 9/11, is an unintended outcome of rise and inclusion of China in the world markets.

About capitalism, come on, I know you’re joking. you know that humanity has evolved genetically as an expression of nature exactly during hundreds of thousands of years of economic communism, which in fact is called primitive communism.

Instead, I want to know what do you think about the idea of capitalist expansion in space as the only solution to a general crisis. There are a good number of large companies now engaged in the race, some just on these assumptions. Will they succeed in transfer very complex industries off the Earth, or millions of colonizers?

I hope he keeps getting ever more sophisticated patents approved as they get filed. There is *no* doubt that the quality of the wording and the strategic explanations had improved out-of-sight over the original 2008 Italian patent.

No matter what one thinks of Andrea Rossi and/or his way of interacting, this is his moment and so be it. He knows it and those who want to rain on his parade should step back and give him his dues for upping his game in the patentsphere.

    • Frechette

The way things are going in a few short years Europe will either become the United Islamic Republics of Europe or a civil war will break out the likes of which will dwarf anything seen in the past. A large majority of Europeans no longer believe the lies and propaganda of the mainstream media.(MSM) They fear losing their cultural identity and becoming a minority in their own countries.

There is a total disconnect in the West between the ruling elites, MSM, and the ordinary citizens. It is this phenomenon which Trump has tapped into. It is also the reason for the rise in popularity of Marie Le Pen in France and the UKIP in Britain.
