Rossi: 40 MW E-Cat Plant to use Multiple Gas Turbines to Generate Electricity

Andrea Rossi was asked recently on the Journal of Nuclear Physics if he was still working on the jet engines, and he replied, “The work on jet engines is in progress.” Today there was another Q&A on the subject:

Dr Andrea Rossi,
Can you tell us if the supply of the 40 MW heat will be generated by means of multiple gas jet kind of turbines?
Thank you if you can answer,
Jeff

Jeff:
Yes.

Perhaps jet turbines are required to get rid of the large amounts of heat generated by the SK E-Cats. Rossi has also stated that the 40 MW plant he is building for a customer will be built and installed in “lots”, in other words will not be all installed at once. So maybe this means that one turbine will be built and installed at a time. Or perhaps a few at a time.

UPDATE:

I asked Rossi about the customer’s use of these turbines:

Dear Andrea,

The gas turbines you will be building to be used with the SK reactors, will they be used to generate electricity by the customer?
