Thanks to Giorgio Vassallo on the Cold Fusion, Andrea Rossi and LENR Facebook page for posting about the following.
Icelandic news and information website Icelandic Monitor is reporting about an Icelandic researcher, Sveinn Ólafsson who, along with Swedish chemist Leif Holmild, has had an article in the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy titled “Spontaneous ejection of high-energy particles from ultra-dense deuterium.” See here (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0360319915016018).
Ólafsson tells the Icelandic Monitor about his research in which he and Holmild were able to fuse hydrogen isotopes into helium without the use of a laser, which Holmild had used in a 2013 experiment. He says, “”Cold fusion means the fusion of hydrogen isotopes into helium. In the fusion process, energy is released as a kinetic energy of a particle of heat.”
