Thanks to Mats002 for pointing out a significant upgrade to the website of Nichenergy, the company that is working on commercializing the LENR work of Francesco Piantelli. Here’s the link to the site: http://www.nichenergy.com/
For a long time the website was just a placeholder, but now there is a lot more information, including a page which gives a detailed history of the timeline of Piantelli and Nichenergy’s work, including the work that Sergio Focardi and others were involved in during the 1990s. One interesting entry is for 2005-2006 that reads: “With subsequent activations was possible to keep activated a cell for some months (about 70 W) without external power and without addition of gas”
There’s a page that provides the company’s goals, which includes “Up-scaling from W to kW” (indicating that they are still working with relatively low powers). There’s also a page listing the patents for Piantelli’s work, which does not include the “Method and Apparatus for Generating Energy by Nuclear Reactions of Hydrogen Adsobred by Orbital Capture on a Nanocrystalline Structure of a Metal” which was revoked this year after a challenge from Leonardo Corp.
Another page provides a summary of experimental results, mainly in the form of numerous charts and explanations.
So this does seem to indicate a new level of intention for Nichenery. LENR-Invest has reported that they have invested funds in Nichenergy, among other LENR ventures, so perhaps they now have funds to go forward with more vigor.
