I asked Andrea Rossi this week if he was continuing to develop the E-Cat SKLed lamp ahead of the scheduled November 25 presentation, and he replied saying:
“The SKLed is a done thing. We are just waiting for the final modifications that the certification company will impose us, but the main issues have already been assessed. The 90% of my work now is on the SKL.”
This response suggests to me that there has been some dialogue between the certifiers and Rossi’s team, hopefully there are no major hurdles to overcome. The fact that he is spending almost all his effort with the SKL generator indicates that there are no big problems.
Some more questions came up about the November demonstration:

Does the light intensity of 10,000 lumens concentrated in one small area pose no danger to the eye? I think one will be at least blinded for a while.

We are using it without problems.

Do you plan to use more than one SKLed during your October demonstration? If so, how many will be used for the demonstration?

Obviously the lamps will be distributed in different rooms,
Rossi has stated in the past that the SKLed presentation will be a facility of one of his customers, and from these comments it seems that around 100 SKLeds will be installed throughout the facility. I would guess that they will have had them installed for some time prior to the presentation, I hope at least long enough that they will be able to report on energy usage, light quality and any cost savings they may have realized.
For me, the most important information that will come from the presentation is going to be what an actual customer reports about using an actual E-Cat product. This is something we have been waiting for for many years now.
