We all know that only after 1 million pre-orders of the Ecat SKLed are received, will Leonardo Corporation begin production of them, but how long will that production take? This is a brand new product, and Leonardo has not yet been involved in the mass production of products, and one million items would seem to be a lot of units.
I asked Andrea Rossi about this:

Let’s say by the end of this year you have 1 million pre-orders for the SKLed. How long will it take to manufacture those million units?

Within max 6 months we will deliver.

Thank you for your response to my previous question. Does this mean that if one million pre-orders are achieved, all of these one million units will be delivered within six months?

If this order fulfillment is to be realized as described, Rossi must have organized a sophisticated production system. Rossi has stated that the reason that one million pre-orders are necessary is that it will allow him to get the SKLed to the price point he needs. I would suspect also that thi pre-order volume is needed to have the funds that will be required for the mass production to begin.
I do think that it will be possible to hit the one million mark if the November presentation is convincing. Whether the transition from pre-orders to actual orders, production and delivery will be as smooth as he describes remains to be seen.
