Since Andrea Rossi said recently that he had submitted the E-Cat SKL (the electricity generator) for certification testing, I was curious how many they had actually built. So I asked about it today on the Journal of Nuclear Physics:
“Frank Acland September 23, 2021 at 4:44 AM
Dear Andrea,
So far how many separate prototypes of E-Cat SKL have you built?
Many thanks, Frank AclandAndrea Rossi September 23, 2021 at 8:41 AM
Frank Acland:
Hundreds,
Warm Regards, A.R.”
I was actually quite surprised by this response. I had assumed they had been building the prototypes by hand and thought maybe a handful had been produced so far. To me, the response of hundreds must mean that they have an automated production system in place. If so, that’s pretty interesting and quite exciting that it is apparently not a very onerous process to build an E-Cat SKL.
