Just a couple of days ago he had reported being at close to 300,000 units, so this is quite a significant increase.
Rossi was asked yesterday by one reader whether it was really necessary to hit the million mark before going into production:

What is the minimum threshold to start production of eCats? If for example you reach 800k orders and the orders more or less stop what will you do? Do you throw everything away and give up to sell your project?I can’t believe it…
