Below is a video of Brilliant Light Power CEO Randell Mills making a presentation at the Global Energy Meet that was held March 6th-10th of this year in Boston, Massachusetts at the Boston Marriot Newton.
The event was sponsored by the United Scientific Group which is a non-profit interested in advances in the energy industry.
Mills explains in this presentation that in the last year or two that BrLP has had a breakthrough by developing an optical power system where the light of the plasma can be converted directly into electricity using concentrator photovoltaics at a rate of about a megawatt per square meter. He states that there is no fuel or grid infrastructure required and he estimates that the cost of on-site electricity production is $0.001 per kw/h.
