Andrea Rossi recently responded to a question on the Journal of Nuclear Physics regarding whether he was planning to show videos of an E-Cat powering a heater this year. Rossi’s response was “if necessary”

For example, if we will close successfully the deal we have on course, we won’t need more demos before entering the market.

So from this I take it that Rossi is working on a deal large enough to put them over the top in terms of getting the requisite number of preorders to start production. But apparently the deal has not yet closed. I would guess a lot of negotiation would be involved in something as consequential as this. It will be interesting to see if this actually pans out.
