Reaction to Rossi’s May 7th Status Report

Below is a video I posted following Andrea Rossi’s report today on his recent testing and talks with his industrial partner.

I do think that his report signifies progress in Rossi’s goal towards E-Cat commercialization. From his comment it seems that the E-Cat must have performed well in testing, since there is no mention of any technical problems. On the contrary, Rossi seems very bullish about deliveries of E-Cat beginning this year.

It sounds like it was a high-level delegation from the partner’s company which worked with Rossi over the testing period, including the CEO. It would be very important for the company’s CEO to sign off on any E-Cat involvement.

Of course, Rossi does not identify who the partner is, and I think that is probably out of the desire to avoid unwanted negative attention. We have seen over the years that anyone who admits to any connection with Andrea Rossi and the E-Cat becomes the target of intense scrutiny from critics, and I can understand why the partner prefers to keep its identity hidden for the time being.

The important thing as to get production started, and if the partner’s anonymity for the present helps get the E-Cat closer to production, I don’t think it is a problem. The most important thing, in my opinion, is to get the deliveries started as soon as possible.
