The work to start the Ecat deliveries is proceeding as scheduled. During September we will be making crucial tests. These tests will provide us with information that is necessary for scheduling the manufacturing and the deliveries of the Ecats.

There’s not a lot one can decipher from this report, except they are apparently not behind schedule at this moment, and the goal has always been to start the deliveries in 2025. I would expect at this point they will be beginning to test the mass production system.
A few weeks ago I asked Andrea Rossi if they had finalized the design of the first E-Cat modules, and he said “not yet, but we are close”. Before mass production starts, they have to have the design finalized, so maybe they have reached that point now.
