Happy New Year to all E-Cat World Readers!
Today there was a surprise (to me) comment by Andrea Rossi on the Journal of Nuclear Physics in response to a question about why E-Cat deliveries did not start in 2025 as Andrea Rossi had often predicted.

The deliveries started in December 2025, as I said and explained here.

That was news to me, because I remember him saying that they would start on January 20th of 2026. So I decided to ask him directly. I reminded him of a comment from December 9th when he stated “The deliveries of the Ecats will be initiated on January 20 2026.”
His response to me was:
Actually the deliveries to the Clients of our Global Licensee have been started in December. We started the deliveries before, my former comment was conservative. You can report this fact.
Some new Q&As on the topic have since been posted on the JONP:
Dr Rossi,
Can you answer this question: is the Ecat assembly already in delivering phase in the order of:
1- Megawatts
2- hundreds of kW
3- tens of kW
4- kW
Thank you if you can answer

Dear Dr Rossi,
A very happy and successful New Year to yourself and your team. Many congratulations on the first Industrial Ecats being delivered in December 2025.
1. Are these Ecats for one site or multiple sites?
2. Will these first installations be considered as part of an acceptance trial?
3. Is the industrial partner ready to start the worldwide rollout of installations?Andrea Rossi

So, according to AR, deliveries and installations of E-Cats has already started. The first customer is apparently a client of Leonardo Corporation’s global licensee. So far we don’t have the identity of either the client or the licensee, so it is doubtful that this will be reported very widely in news media or on social media channels.
Probably that suits the global licensee quite well, as they are likely to want to keep a low profile as the first plants go online, and their performance is monitored.
In my opinion this is a very significant development, and quite a beginning to 2026. Let’s see if we get any confirmation of any of this activity in the coming year.
