English Subtitles for Part of Parkhomov Video Available (myhs)

Thanks to ECW reader myhs for the following comment on this thread:

Hi All –
Here are English subtitles of the very beginning of the last Parkhomov’s video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTa3uVYuvwg) I did just 2 first parts (the introduction and the explanation of the design of the reactor and the calorimeter – first 4 minutes).
Subtitles file can be downloaded with this link => http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=24162397571582867946

You can download the video, subtitles and play them using any player which supports .srt subtitles (I just checked with Media Player Classic from K-Lite pack and the subtitles were shown OK)

Please let me know if anybody wants me to continue translating the video (unfortunately I’m not a too fast translator and don’t have too much time for this activity so I guess I will be able to translate only 5-10 minutes a day)

No prob. Just doing my best to support the community. Hope this will help in speeding the replication up and we’ll finally know whether LENR really works or not 🙂

do most people know how to “download” a youtube video? I have the means but it’s not trivial… is it?

      It’s a trivial pursuit.

I guess after the translation is finished we can ask Mr. Parkhomov (this can be done by say somebody from ECW who is in connection with him) to add the subtitles to his video. That will be much more convenient indeed..

It will be much better to simply make a transcript of the interview instead of srt file. It need not be very detailed with every word translated, just the important stuff with any important details.

I think it’s better to have the full translation as it’s very easy to lost some important details during transcript compilation. Also They show the equipment and explain it and it would be hard to describe it in a transcript.

But please feel free to use the subtitles, create the transcript and post it here (If you wish to of course) It’s just a text file.

        Sure I can do that.
