One ecat SKLep costs 249 $ and produces about 2,4 KWh in 1 day. The same power may be easily obtained by a solar panel with a cost of no more than 100 $. Obviously, the Ecat is small and can be placed everywhere. This is not possible for a solar panel. Anyway, the cost of an ecat actually seems uncompetitive compared to solar panels. Do you think that the cost of the Ecat SKLep will decrease substantially in the next years?

Dear Andrea, I’m not aware about any disrupting technology in history that did not clash with crowd’s beliefs. I don’t usually watch commercials either and, if I do by mistake, I erase the specific product from my buying list. Nevertheless, in quality of Ecat SKLep potential buyer I’m still confused, will it be possible, if coherent with your market approach strategy, set up a simple presentation for a simple minds where an actor receives the Item in a box, he/her plugs it onto the main and with that in place he/her gives power to a light bulb old style (100w tungsten filament). I am interested in determining how much floor and/or shelf space I would need to house the SKLEP system. Do you plan to vary the size of the enclosure based on the number of SKLEP modules that the enclosure contains. Or do you plan to use a single enclosure size that is capable of housing a maximum number of SKLEP modules.?
I plan to use only single SKLEP modules in my configuration. Will a
maximum sized enclosure be used to house a single SKLEP module?
If you plan this type of standardized maximum sized enclosure
strategy, I will need to erect an out building to house the SKLEP
system configuration.
2. Based on the fact that the SKLep is based on the SKL i assume the
unit contains a bulb to contain the plasma during normal operation. A
typical discharge lamp has a lifespan of up to 5000 hours, which is a
lot less than the expected operational lifespan of 100 000 hours for
the SKLep stated on your website. Did you do tests to evaluate the
lifespan of the plasma bulb, and can you give us some confidence that
this will not be the bottleneck when it comes to longevity of the
device?
Mr Rossi, Large-scale manufacturing is a specialty. Mastering all the processes and carrying out all the necessary controls during production is not easy when you talk in millions of units: 1. don’t you think that you should join forces with an industrialist whose business is the production of several million units, such as it

2. why don’t you assign the patent? The fortune of you and your team
would be made, and enjoy your retirement, time flies. Humanity would

– in general, this type of power supply has 4 terminals for the
output: + V, + F and -V, -F. The + V and + F terminals must be
connected together, as well as the -V and -F terminals for the power
supply to function properly. Maybe the output comes with just 2
terminals (0V, +12V)?
When I need more power, adding more SKLep, can I modify the control
unit by myself under your guidance?
The plasma inside the SKLep emits light. Is it possible to use this

Why the wattmeter indicates 0.7W while the voltage is 223V and the
current 0.02A? by the math 223*.02 = 4.46W. The consumption is
measured before the power supply? this seems impossible because only
the idle consume of the switching psu is higher than 0.7W.
Mr Rossi, since the power supply of the control system is not
indicated on the synoptic, maybe the CS is self powered by the E-Cat,
am I right ?

in series to a 5kW 3 phase inverter. Each panel is connected via an
optimizer making the panels power production independent from each
other. Each panel produces at its maximum even if the roof is party in

At the top of the SKLep there is a knob that can be used to modulate
the power output. This makes sense when it is a stand-alone unit. My

1) Is the controller a separate unit, and is it provided with the 40

If several SKLep systems are combined, only one controller is needed
up to 100 units. Is the price, for example, for 10 SKLeps with one
controller much less than 10 complete systems, (since the controller
must be a significant part of the cost)?
no, the AI becomes more complex for any adjunted item

Since the power at the input of the assembly is 1W, control system
included, I suggest that the synoptic to be clarified:
– either the microcontroller card has its own power supply (+ 3.3V +
5V) and should be added to the synoptic, by properly connecting the
power supply input to the output of the Wattmeter.
– either the 3.3V and 5V voltages come from the 12V power supply and
in this case a connection should be added on the synoptic going from
the 12V power supply to the microcontroller card.

In the video of the SKLep there was quite a bit of external control circuitry. Is that to be incorporated into the Ecat box for the final product, or will there still be a lot of external circuitry?
