Rossi: Integration of E-Cat not in Partnership with EV Maker

There have been some questions about whether the E-Cat EV R&D has been don in partnership with the manufacturer of the electric car that is being charged by the E-Cat. Someone posted this question about this directly to Andrea Rossi on the Journal of Nuclear Physics today:

Hello A. Rossi
Do you do the integration of the E-Cat into the car in partnership with the manufacturer of that vehicle?
All my support and thank you if you can divulge this information.
Best regards

Not yet,
Warm Regards,

From this it would appear that Rossi and his team have been working independently on an electric car, and so I would assume that the EV demonstration later this year will not be sponsored or endoresed by the EV’s manufacturer, even though they might be aware of what is going on. From the manufacturer’s perspective it might be desirable to have a hands-off approach, in case something goes wrong. If it works, then I think there would be a lot of big decisions that all EV makers will be considering. It might be a big selling point for a car maker to have ‘E-Cat Onboard’ technology, so that customers don’t have to worry about charging their vehicles from an external source.
