New FAQs About the E-Cat SKLep NGU

There are some new questions and answers on the FAQ page of Leonardo Corporation’s website.

Here is the link to the page, and below are the new Q&As which are the first questions of the page.

What is the E-Cat SKLep NGU?

The E-Cat SKLep NGU is a device that generates electricity based on principles described in the paper “E-Cat SK and Long-Range Particle Interactions” by Andrea Rossi

What is the output of E-Cat SKLep NGU?

The E-Cat SKLep NGU generates DC (direct current) electricity.

Does the E-Cat SKLep NGU produce light that shines on solar panels to generate electricity?

No. While E-Cat technology can produce light, it is much less efficient to use light to generate electricity, rather than producing DC electricity directly.

Does the E-Cat SKLep NGU need to be connected to a power source to operate?

No, the E-Cat SKLep NGU operates in self-sustained mode (SSM), and does not require a connection to any external energy or fuel source.

Why combine the E-Cat SKLep NGU with existing solar systems?

If you already have an existing solar system generating electricity, then the E-Cat NGU can be easily connected to your existing equipment, such as inverters and batteries, and you can quickly start using the power of E-Cat technology to multiply the electricity generated by your solar panels.

Will I still be able to use my solar panels if the E-Cat SKLep NGU is installed?

Yes, your solar panels will continue to generate electricity as normal. The E-Cat NGU simply increases the amount of electricity generated by the system.

If I install the E-Cat SKLep NGU, will I be able to generate electricity at night?

Yes, the E-Cat SKLep NGU operates in self-sustain mode, and will continue to generate electricity when the solar panels are not receiving sunlight.

What if the E-Cat SKLep NGU generates more electricity than I need?

If you are using batteries to store electricity, the E-Cat SKLep NGU will charge your batteries to capacity.

If you have a system that feeds excess electricity to the grid, electricity generated by the E-Cat SKLep NGU can be fed into the grid, in accordance with applicable government/utility regulations.

If your batteries are filled to capacity, and you are not feeding electricity into the grid, the E-Cat SKLep NGU cells will automatically shut off.

Will the E-Cat SKLep NGU generate electricity to my installation if I disconnect my solar panels?

Yes, if your E-Cat SKLep NGU cells are correctly connected to your electrical system they will continue to generate electricity.

Can I install E-Cat SKLep NGU to generate electricity if I do not have solar panels?

Yes, you do not need to have a solar energy system installed to use E-Cat SKLep NGU cells. However solar panels will increase the amount of energy produced in a system. If you do not use solar panels, you will need to have additional equipment installed that is typically used in solar installations, such as inverters and batteries.

What power rating do E-Cat SKLep NGU cells have?

E-Cat SKLep NGU cells come in sizes of 10 W and 100 W. Multiple cells can be combined to provide the total amount of output desired.

What is the cost of E-Cat SKLep NGU cells?

A 10 W cell will be is $25 USD, 100 W will be cell is $249

When will you demonstrate the E-Cat SKLep NGU in operation?

We are planning and preparing for a public demonstration of an installation of the E-Cat SKLep NGU. While we cannot predict yet exactly when it will happen, we expect it will be sometime in the first half of 2024.

What is the difference between the E-Cat SKLep NGU, and the E-Cat SKLep SSM?

Based on real-world experimentation and testing, we have added some components to the E-Cat SKLep SSM cells in order to ensure safety and stability.

How much larger will the E-Cat SKLep NGU be compared to the E-Cat SKLep SSM?

When we have completed the testing currently on course, we will update the data sheet on our website to reflect the change in size and weight.

There has been quite a lot of speculation about why Andrea Rossi has been talking about the E-Cat NGU being suitable to work in conjunction with solar power systems. Here it clarifies that point somewhat: the E-Cat NGU is not designed to emit light, just electricity.

There doesn’t seem to be much difference between the SKLep SSM and the SKLep NGU, except that the NGU is larger because of additional components.
